Sock & Underwear Drive! — Please consider donating NEW pairs of socks and underwear (for ALL ages, ALL sizes, and ALL genders) which will be given out at Our Children Our Future’s Resource Fair and Family Fun Night in May! Race Against Racism — As part of our commitment to racial justice and equity, UUCFW is co-sponsoring YWCA Northeast Indiana’s second annual Race Against Racism 5K Walk/Run event. The Race Against Racism will raise funds for YWCA’s racial justice work, and will take place at PFW on Saturday, April 29th with a 10 a.m. start time. UUCFW will have an info table there.

Advocates for Racial Justice — Their meetings to plan and share thoughts and ideas about the work to be done are held on the first Wednesday of every month, via Zoom. They are currently working with the YWCA for the Race Against Racism, hosting author Sandi Baron, exploring book titles for future book chats, enjoying a joint project with APRI called Friends First, and considering locations for the second Racial Injustice Historical Journey for 2024. Sisters Over 65 — meet the second Thursday of the month in the Choir room from 10:30 to 12 noon. Some of us go to lunch after the meeting. All are welcome.
Sisters in Good Company Book Group — meet Sunday, May 14th, 6 p.m. at the UU Meeting House for a potluck dinner and book discussion of “Demon Copperhead” by Barbara Kingsolver.
General Assembly 2023 (GA)— The UUA is holding the annual meeting of the Unitarian Universalist Association in Pittsburgh, PA, June 21st-25th. Join us in-person or virtually to worship, witness, learn, connect and make policy for the association through democratic process. The General Assembly website is uua.org/ga/registration.
